I think it was be so bloody awesome if The Cabbage Man like played a signifacant role later on in the story!

1.) Like maybe he distracts the Fire Lord by throwing Cabbages at him!

2.) Or he saves one member of the gang

MY CABBAGES!!!!!!!

I think it would be funny, if later he changes from cabbages to like celery or something I would laugh. But then he loses the ring to his name!
